The Malvern Hills
Dominating the skyline as you drive west out of Twyning are the impressive Malvern Hills. On a clear day visitors to the Malverns are treated to stunning views across the Severn Valley, Upton Upon Severn and finally Bredon Hill in the distance. To the west the views stretch across the Welsh borders to the Black Mountains. There are plenty of footpaths on the Malvern Hills and car parks close to the top for those who prefer a short stroll to admire the view.
Great Malvern
A famous Victorian Spa Town, Great Malvern runs along the side of the Malvern Hills. The town has a collection of small antique shops, tea rooms and art shops. It's also home to The Malvern Water Company and Morgan Cars - both are open to visitors.

Hereford & Worcester
Worcester offers visitors the chance to explore the old streets with historic buildings, Worcester Cathedral, The Worcester Porcelain Museum, Commandery, The City Art Gallery and Museum and take a stroll along the River Severn running through the middle of town. Hereford has an impressive Norman cathedral, Traditional Cider Museum, Waterworks Museum and the Mappa Mundi Exhibition. The annual h.Art week (Herefordshire Art Work) takes place in September when artists from across the county open their studios and art events are run across the County.
There's also plenty to do out of town; quaint English villages, vineyards, National Trust properties and Gardens to visit, and footpaths over the hills and along the valleys of the River Severn and River Wye. |

Upton-Upon-Severn
The pretty riverside town of Upton-Upon-Severn has no shortage of pubs, restaurants and cafes and the town makes a big effort for the Britain in Bloom competition. The distinctive "Pepper Pot" building marks the entrance into the town across the River Severn. Upton is famous for its music festivals including the Upton Jazz Festival and Blues Festival and the Upton Water Festival on the river. River Cruises along the Severn are also available from Upton.

The Vale of Evesham
The Vale of Evesham is one of the most productive fruit and vegetable growing areas in the UK, famous for its asparagus, plums and apples. The Evesham Trail takes visitors around the asparagus fields in spring and the fruit orchards full of white and pink blossom in May. Later in the year there are Apple and Plum Festival with plenty of local produce available in the local villages, farms shops and the Evesham Country Park. The River Avon runs through Evesham and Pershore and there are riverboat trips from Evesham in the summer including evening dinner and sunset cruises. |

In the elegant georgian town of Pershore is Pershore College an RHS centre of horticultural excellence. Pershore College is also home to the British Alpine Society and it's show garden.
On the A4104 between Upton and Pershore take time to stop at Revills Farm shop. They serve great coffee, cream teas and excellent lunches and sell their homegrown top quality fresh fruit and vegetables - including asparagus and strawberries plus locally produced meat, diary products, bread, cakes, ice cream and much more.
