Stable Cottage is a traditional English country cottage built in the 18th century. The holiday cottage has been recently renovated and updated to provide comfortable self catering accommodation for 4 people (sorry but we are unable to accommodate children under 12 years old). Stable Cottage offers a combination of period features and modern facilities to provide everything you need for relaxing self catering holidays or a short break. Stable Cottage is a comfortable, two bedroom holiday cottage, sleeping up to 4 people. Situated in the grounds of the Old Manor in Twyning, the holiday cottage has its own private access and driveway with off-road parking for 3 cars.

The dual aspect lounge looks over the gardens and has a traditional style stove, 32" digital TV, DVD and hifi. There is a small library of books, DVDs and CDs, plus a collection local maps, walking books and a folder of events and attractions. Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire offer a wide range of places to visit and things to do. There is free WiFi in the cottage for internet access.

The fully equipped kitchen has a range of quality pots, pans, china and glasses. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, microwave oven, ceramic hob with extractor hood, electric oven and fridge with freezer compartment. To make your stay as easy, enjoyable and relaxed as possible the cottage is fully equipped with household supplies from toilet rolls to dishwasher tablets. More info.

Twyning Village Stores stocks local meat, fruit and vegetables, bread, cakes, tinned and frozen food. Tewkesbury town has a great selection of food shops including traditional butchers, green grocers, bakers, delicatessens, wine shop and a couple of supermarkets. The Village pub is within easy walking distance of the holiday cottage, and there are plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, tea rooms and takeaways in the local area.

Both bedrooms in the holiday cottage overlook the gardens and the Cotswold hills. Good quality beds are all fitted with luxury bed linen, warm duvets are provided in winter and sheets and blankets in summer. Additional pillows and throws are available if required. Each bedroom has it's own tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The spacious double bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space. The large twin bedded room still retains the original victorian fireplace and is fitted with cottage-style pine bedroom furniture.

The country style, wood paneled bathroom is fresh and bright and still has the original victorian fireplace. There's a separate shower cubicle with a high pressure, thermostatically controlled shower and a full size bath. Complimentary quality toiletries, soaps and toilet rolls are all supplied. Extra large bath towels, large hand towels and flannels are supplied for each guest and additional hand towels and bathmats are provided in the bathroom. There is also a second toilet downstairs in the cottage.

The utility room is fully equipped with washing machine and clothes dryer, plus a clothes airer, ironing board and steam iron. The holiday cottage has full central heating and the combi boiler provides a constant supply of hot water. All heating, lighting and electric is included in the holiday rental price.

The cottage has it's own private driveway providing access to the cottage and there's plenty of off-road parking. There is also a garage at the cottage which can be used for storing canoes, bicycles etc. Guests have exclusive use of the large garden with a sunny patio, established herb garden and woodland glade. It's a relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee, cook on the BBQ and enjoy the sunset.
