Stable Cottage is a traditional Victorian cottage, recently restored to create a comfortable country holiday cottage. The cottage has been fully equipped to provide everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The comfortable lounge looks out onto the gardens and the two sofas provide plenty of room for watching TV, reading, listening to music or chatting. The traditional style stove adds extra ambiance on colder Autumn and Winter evenings. There's a Digital TV, DVD player, Radio, CD and a small library of DVDs and CDs. The bookshelves contain a selection of books, local information, maps and walking guides. A folder in the lounge contains a large collection of brochures and information sheets about the local area and places of interest. There's also a selection of board and card games for use by guests during their stay. The holiday cottage has internet access via free WiFi broadband.

Crystal glasses, table cloths and napkins, flower vases, and candles are all provided - everything you need for a perfect table setting whether it's a take-away, evening meal with friends or a romantic dinner for two.

The fully equipped kitchen has a range of quality pots, pans, china and glasses. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, microwave oven, ceramic hob with extractor hood, electric oven and fridge with freezer compartment. Twyning Village Stores stocks a range of local meat, fruit and vegetables, bread, cakes, tinned and frozen food, and if you prefer not to cook there are plenty of local restaurants, pubs and cafes, including 2 pubs in Twyning within easy walking distance of the holiday cottage.

Both bedrooms in the holiday cottage overlook the gardens and the cotswold hills. Good quality beds are all fitted with luxury bed linen, soft duvets and plenty of pillows. Additional pillows and throws are available if required. Extra large bath towels, large hand towels and flannels are supplied for each guest and additional hand towels and bathmats are provided in the bathroom. Each bedroom has it's own tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The spacious double bedroom has a good quality king size bed, dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space. The large twin bedded room still retains the original victorian fireplace and is fitted with cottage-style quality pine bedroom furniture.

The country style, wood paneled bathroom is fresh and bright and still has the original victorian fireplace. There's a separate shower cubicle with a high pressure, thermostatically controlled shower and a full size bath. Complimentary quality toiletries and soaps are all supplied.

The utility room is fully equipped with washing machine and clothes dryer, plus a clothes airer, ironing board and steam iron. The cottage also has a separate downstairs toilet. The holiday cottage has full central heating and the combi boiler also provides a constant supply of hot water. All heating, lighting and electric is included in the holiday rental price. The cottage has it's own private driveway providing access to the cottage and there's plenty of off-road parking. There is also a garage at the cottage which can be used for storing canoes, bicyles, sport equipment etc.
