Stable Cottage is a traditional English country cottage built in the 18th century with two large bedrooms sleeping up to 4 people (sorry not pets). Situated in the grounds of The Old Manor in Twyning, the holiday cottage has its own private access and driveway with off-road parking for 3 cars. The holiday cottage has been fully renovated and updated including full central heating throughout. There is free WiFi broadband for internet access.

Stable Cottage offers a combination of period features and modern facilities to provide everything you need for relaxing self catering holidays or a short break. Holiday rentals and short breaks can start on any day of the week subject to availability. Please note we can only accommodate children aged over 12 years.

The cottage is accessed from the driveway, along the garden path and down some steps onto the lower patio. The stable door leads into the country style kitchen which is fully equipped with pots, pans, china and glasses. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave oven, ceramic hob with extractor hood, electric oven and fridge with freezer compartment. Tea towels, cloths and kitchen towels are supplied. To make your stay easy and enjoyable the cottage is fully equipped with household supplies from kitchen rolls to dishwasher tablets. More info. To the left of the dining room, along the hall is the dual aspect lounge, which looks over the gardens and has a traditional style stove, flat screen digital TV, DVD and hifi. There is a small library of books plus a collection local maps, walking books and a folder with local events and attractions. Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire offer a wide range of places to visit and things to do.

Turn right from the dining room and you reach the utility room with washing machine and clothes dryer, plus a clothes horse, ironing board and steam iron. Next to the utility room is a downstairs toilet.

The staircase leads from the hall to the first floor with a king size bedroom, twin bedroom and large bathroom. Both bedrooms overlook the gardens and the Cotswold hills. Good quality, comfortable beds are made up with sheets, blankets and bedspreads. Additional pillows, blankets and throws are available in the cupboards if required. Each bedroom has it's own tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and digital TV.

The country-style, wood panelled bathroom is fresh and bright and still has the original Victorian fireplace. There's a stand alone shower cubicle with a high pressure, thermostatically controlled shower and a separate full size bath. Good quantities of complimentary toiletries, soaps and toilet rolls are all supplied. Extra large bath towels, large hand towels and flannels are supplied for each guest and additional hand towels and bath mats are provided in the bathroom.

Outside guests have exclusive use of the large garden with a sunny patio, established herb garden and woodland garden. Garden benches, seating, deck chairs and BBQ are provided. It's a relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee, cook on the BBQ and enjoy the sunset.

The cottage has it's own private driveway providing access to the cottage and there's plenty of off-road parking. There is also a garage at the cottage which can be used for storing bicycles etc.

Tewkesbury town has a great selection of food shops including traditional butchers, green grocers, bakers, delicatessens, wine shop and a couple of supermarkets. The Village pub is within easy walking distance of the holiday cottage, and there are plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, tea rooms and takeaways in the local area.
