True to its name, this barn was originally used to store the hay for the horses in the stables and carriage garages below. It is now a fully refurbished contemporary barn conversion providing spacious self catering accommodation for 3 people (sorry no pets). Located on the first floor above the old Stables (now unused), this luxury apartment has stunning views across to Bredon Hill and The Cotswolds. The Balcony and a private courtyard garden provide outside space for exclusive use by guests staying in The Old Hay Barn. There is plenty of off-road parking just below the apartment. Free Wifi broadband is available for internet access.

This self catering apartment is on the first floor, reached via it's own external staircase. At the top of the metal staircase is a balcony seating area with extensive views across the River Avon and the Cotswolds. The front door leads into a large reception hall. Once in the hall the left hand door leads to the open plan living space and the right to a large Bedroom suite with second lounge. The living space also has a comfortable, quality sofa bed to accommodate one additional person. The fully tiled shower room is located at the end of the reception hall. The Old Hay Barn has full central heating and a constant supply of hot water. All heating and electric is included in the rental price.

The open plan living space has high ceilings and original exposed beams with windows all around over looking the gardens and views towards the cotswolds. There is a bright, comfortable lounge with sofa and additional sofa bed, modern kitchen with breakfast bar and a separate dining area. The lounge has a flat screen digital TV, DVD and hifi. There is a small library of books plus a collection local maps, walking books and a folder of events and attractions in the area to help plan your stay.

The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, china and glasses. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, microwave oven, ceramic hob, a double electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a washing machine. Tea towels, cloths and kitchen towels are supplied. To make your stay easy and enjoyable the accommodation is fully supplied with household essentials such as washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. so you do not need to bring everything with you. On the other side of the entrance hall is an equally spacious king size bedroom suite with a second lounge with window seats also overlooking the gardens and the Cotswold hills. Quality bed linen, blankets, additional pillows, bath robes and hair dryer are all provided.

The luxury fully tiled shower room leads from the central hall way and has a high pressure shower, under floor heating, and heated towel rail. Extra large bath towels, hand towels and flannels are supplied for each guest plus additional hand towels and bath mats. A good supply of complimentary toiletries, soaps, shampoo and toilet rolls are all included.

Even though its on the first floor, The Old Hay Barn has plenty of outside space. The balcony provides an outside seating area offering panoramic views across the vale to Bredon, Tewkesbury and the Cotswold hills. A cobbled courtyard and private lawn with additional seating and BBQ is also provided for the exclusive use of guests in the Old Hay Barn

There are two village pubs within easy walking distance and plenty of cafes, tea rooms, country pubs, restaurants and takeaways locally. Tewkesbury town has a great selection of food shops including traditional butchers, green grocers, bakers, delicatessens and a couple of supermarkets. More info.
