The Garden: Outside the cottage there's a large sunny patio with an established herb and gravel garden - a relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee and soak up the last rays of evening sun. The sunsets over the garden are often stunning above the tree tops and make a wonderful backdrop to an evening barbeque (BBQ provided). The patio leads into a woodland garden which contains some unusual trees and shrubs. It was previously part of the main gardens of the Old Manor, which were featured on Gardeners World and open to the public until the late 1990s.

There's plenty of seating in the garden and two sets of patio furniture - one in the sun and one in the shade. The adjacent garage can be used for storage of bicycles and canoes etc. on request.
